@drdarke:disqus I thought she also realized something was up when she saw him naked in the shower? Either Dave is hung like a horse or her husband, the real president, was.

Dave, The Day After Tomorrow (evil Dick Cheney wannabe), 24 (on a couple accounts), Seven Days in May, My Fellow Americans (the evil Quayle-like mastermind), The West Wing (Hoynes), The Event, Prison Break (Vice President Reynolds), Shadow Government (awful, awful Charlie Sheen movie), and so on…

This is getting too cliched for my liking, especially with the dick vice president who's soulless. That's been played out so many times in political dramas.

I guess it depends if they continue with that narrative or drop it. It can make for an interesting next few weeks.

@avclub-8eee1846f9b9cd158dfc174d2db55269:disqus True, true, true. It's also possible they just end with her announcing and you're left to interpret what will happen - or they're hoping for future episodes.

Maybe…but I doubt it. She's just not likable and while her ratings have been boosted by her position as the Secretary of State, once she was back on the campaign trail, fighting bitter primary and general election battles, I think Americans would quickly remember why they didn't like her in the first place.

This series is confusing me. I guess it's good I don't really know where it's going, but I get the sense we're dragging and will just end back at the same spot we've been in for the entire series.

Pretty much. It'll be drug-related for sure.

Also, if Hillary Clinton had near the charisma Sigourney Weaver has, I think she would've cruised to the presidency.

Definitely not off the mark. Though it feels kind of like a cheap knockoff of a typical Sorkin show - like it's trying to out-Sorkin the Sorkster.
