Today I learned that I need to start reading the AV Club again.

The mixed reception on Inherent Vice disturbs me. Look at all those gifs! The gifs couldn't have lied!!! (For reference, Tasha gave it 2 and 1/2 stars on Letterboxd.)

Apparently it was at TIFF and it's going out in theaters in January. The real question is: if Olive Kitteridge is so great why didn't I hear a word about it until two days ago? Did they hide it from us because they thought we would break it?

After the first season 5 episodes I read some comments that said that Dan never liked Pierce. That's still some of the stupidest Community criticism I've read.

I might agree with all this.

One of the accusing women (I think Janice Dickinson) said that he might be one of the biggest serial rapists in USA's history. I just wanted to say that out loud.

It could even happen during the next year, which is loaded with franchises to the point of hilarity.

Maybe? I know that movie has a good size of detractors. I think it's starting to come around now. (I think it's a top 5 work of his. And you can count me in with the Sleepy Hollow defenders.)

On the good side, he rates Batman Returns higher than Batman, which should become the consensus opinion already.
