How do you write all this and not mention Brandon Routh?

Now I want to see Paul Gross play Seurat/George. Anyone know if he can sing?
How do you watch this series without knowing the underlying plays?
In fact, I'm sure many of us did. It's also known as Monette's Stratford Festival. (Where I did see, in addition to a lot of Shakespeare, Guys and Dolls and Oliver.)
I can't believe I had to wade through over 1000 comments before seeing someone else mention Homefront! Such a fabulous cast: Kyle Chandler, Mimi Kennedy, Ken Jenkins, John Slattery, Kelly Rutherford…
I've seen at least one legendary Lear (McKellen), but the third season makes me wish I had seen Bill Hutt do all of Lear. And the first episode makes me hope Gross does Tempest some day soon…
I gotta disagree. Stratford's staging of Othello with Goad as Iago (in the Patterson Theater, no less) was fantastic.
Oh man, we didn't start going to Stratford until 2001 - the year AFTER Paul Gross' Hamlet. (We got hooked by Plummer's Lear.) Hamlet's my favorite of the Shakespeare tragedies, so when I figured that out, I was so upset. (Ben Carlson, a few years later, was fine. I would have rather seen Jonathan Goad though.)
