And it is revealed that Ben is a Washington General!

Richard simply said, "he won't remember this," which really could mean a lot of things. I'm not assuming he gets the tabula rasa.

Oh, I loves me some LOST. And normally they're pretty good about keeping things between the lines - it's just jarring when they don't. I didn't mind this ep though, and I'm sure it will play even better on DVD as a grace note between last week and next week.

Oh, I agree with you guys - I think the futurity is why Juliet inserts herself and why she tries to insert Jack though. She has confidence not only in their abilities, but in their advanced training. There was a line about med staff being at the Medical station, which is also a dumb idea, but at least there are

Me too, Steffs. And on any other show I would have started looking for motorcycles and shark tanks, but instead I was like, "Well, let's see where they go with it…" :)

They're also lacking doctors with training and techniques from 30 years in the future. Not to mention that Juliet and Jack are experts in their respective fields. I can't imagine tthat the DI, such as it seems to be in the current storyline, was attracting a lot of top docs.

I also felt like there was kind of a performance problem with Kate and Cassidy. There was a lot of sharing, but they didn't have any chemistry - no sense of intimacy. It was probably the dialog too, but it definitely seemed like the actresses were having a hard time making a moment happen, you know?

Or maybe he just had like a sock puppet that screamed.

You make a good point, Pilot, about letting the characters change a little in this episode. But I wanted them to elide a few things. Hurley and Myles' conversation would have worked a lot better for me if we just came in on the end. Even as a crutch for slow viewers (or a promise to all viewers that they know what

It doesn't say a lot for the episode that the "baton pass" and preview for next week made me like 4 times giddier than anything in the episode proper.

Yes.
"being one of the only shows whose opening credits I never fast-forward through"

Get Rock Band 2, and play it in "no fail" mode. It's a pretty great track list, and it's unbelievable fun.

…it's "too." Oh, the shame…

A More Innocent Time
"Kings" seems like a throwback to when TV metworks used to experiment and put on things like Jim Henson's "The Cube." I wish TV networks got more out of "prestige" events like this these days.

ICR: I LOL'd. :)

Possibly my favorite insert shot in anything ever.

Yeah, the two year gap is so intriguing!

His NSA agent was named "Tom" though. Dominic calls him that out on the quad.

I'd be just as satisfied to know that the Dollhouse was an urban legend that Rossum decided to make real in order to fund itself and test its research as I would be to find out that the Dollhouse really has been around since the 80s.

Did everyone see the news that the Fox head said the full season will play, in this timeslot? I guess the question will really be renewal, which is way too open a question to answer now.
