I agree, The Unusuals was much better than I expected.

@Dominic-Vobiscum: that HD screencap is indeed better. I was doubtful until seeing that.

RE/Search #8/9: J.G. Ballard (http://researchpubs.com/boo… was my first intro to his work. It had a DIY/punk-zine collage aesthetic that kind of clouded my impression of his work, which I find more approachable on its own.

I agree. I had 'Crash' for years but couldn't find an entry point for reading it. 'The Best Short Stories…' (http://tinyurl.com/yelsxs9) is a good intro and highlights his recurring themes and conveys the scope of his brilliance.
I'm currently reading 'The Complete Stories…"(still in the mid '60s material), which I'd
