How can you be sure that Sucklord's image as 'gentlemanly and mature' wasn't just a 'narrative' constructed by the producers?

Loving Sucklord's flickr stream—-the shabby booth at comic con, the massage parlor hookers he hired for it, and the general lack of any customers present. Wonder what sort of 'narrative' is being constructed there…

Paul Schafer? (Not of CBS Orchestra fame, but, as mentioned, of Nazi and pedophilia fame.)

Well… what's it about, then?

Kinda thought pop art was an ambivalent 'celebration' of cultural detritus. Didn't know agitprop was pop art.

The concession reality TV offers to the handicapped is that they even have one on the show.

"I bet you've had a hard time walking into a room full of people on your own, right? Yeah. I know that. I know what it is not to feel like you're in the room until he looks at you, or touches your hand, or even makes a joke at your expense just to let everyone know… you're with him."

I didn't see the episode but after seeing Dusty's thing on the WOA website I thought, "Kinda interesting. In pop art packaging is art so it is shocking to throw it out." But that environmental stuff? My oh my.

Seems Black Cat is also in a box called The Universal Horror Classic Movie Archive. Also in that box: Captive Wild Woman, the first in a series featuring Jungle Woman and Jungle Captive.

That's cool.

That I get, but I read somewhere that they got the de-evolution thing from that film. Is there an explicit ref.?

Is there any reference to "devolution' in Island of Lost Souls? I must've missed it. Maybe when the animals, like the sexy jungle lady, start regressing…?

I probably 'don't understand' the meaning of the word allegory.

Nah, it doesn't really make sense.

If there is one thing soldiers are known for, it is definitely their lack of interest in sex.

Maybe we should talk about artists in an entirely new way. Let's define 'artist' as some transcendental part of an otherwise mundane personage.

A conformist
I was strong-armed into this.
