Maybe she met a Kennedy.

I'm starting to think that the of people who dismiss Betty storylines as cliched bores.  I'm so tired of reading the received wisdom about her in write up after write up (Maureen Ryan's recap of this episode has greatly diminished my appreciation of that critic).  She's certainly not a character I'm particularly

Luckily by the time I took Advanced Acting it was with a prof. who was talented but had no real tolerance for undergrads, so we just did scene study, had and moved on with our lives.  Voice and Speech though, lord…

Seeing Megan on the floor doing breathing exercises reminded me of every acting class I ever took and production I was ever a part of.  But then I wondered if most people watching would think that her teacher was just doing some weird 60's hippy bullshit, and then I thought "Was that really my college career?"

It's really killing me.  "Remedial Chaos Theory" had me extremely excited for this season (I busted a gut on "Horror Fiction…" immediately after, but that was more a just-for-laughs kind of episode).  But it's just…lacking for me, somehow.  My two favorite episodes of this series were "Mixology Certification" and

This makes more sense.  Thanks.

I love individual episodes, but I'm not certain how I feel about this season as a whole.  If the show gets renewed, I hope the conclusion of this story is Chang's departure, because I'm tired of character and I have no interest in the storyline they're developing around him.

Wait, the CW is still on?

Wait, how many showrunners does (or did, now) Community have?  Or is Dan Harmon not actually the showrunner? I'm quite confused.

That too.  I'd read a couple of recaps/reviews of "Far Away Places" that claimed it took place in September, but none of them said how they could tell.

Todd:Regarding the season's calendar, Episode 5 ("Signal 30") took place in the aftermath of the Charles Whitman shooting rampage, August 1, 1966.  So I'd imagine that we're in September by now.  Couldn't the kids' visit be over the weekend?  Late September/Early October would make since from your look into the Albee

I disagree.  Perhaps I'm just too much of a partisan for Mr. VDW and his perspective on television in general, but I think he's doing an excellent job.  I had a beef with his mixed review of "Mystery Date", but I have that beef with every mixed review that it got (I loved the episode).  I thought Todd's review of

I've been watching Twin Peaks on Netflix recently and my mind wondered the other day as I compared and contrasted the characters of Dale Cooper and Don Draper…

Ironies on top of ironies here…

It's funny that you don't remember "Waldorf Stories".  It's the episode where Don wins the Clio and gets so trashed that he loses a whole day and wakes up with a waitress he doesn't recognize.  In the meanwhile, he pitches Jane's cousin's copy and has to be reminded of the events by Peggy.

I laughed at the few episodes of season one that I made the effort to watch, but I am actually interested to see this.  The Asylum setting would go a long way to making the dozen hours of narrative more convincing.  When people don't leave the haunted house, it strains credulity.  But they CAN'T leave an institution

I personally liked the increased concentration of narrative in the later episodes.

Am I the only one who watched the last episode of season three?  Are any of the people constantly complaining about the show's cancelation aware that the series finale was an actual, conclusive, satisfying finale?  Do people not realize that they got 53 terrific episodes that added up to the best comedy series in the

That was such a beautiful transition from Pete in the elevator telling Don that he has "nothing".

One of my favorite episodes of this season.
