Nocturnal Animals. I still get fits of rage every time I think about that bullshit movie.

Wrong Daario. Ed Skrein is the new Transporter, not Michiel Huisman.

It seems like they purposely picked someone that could sound like any number of the potential suspects, so it would be convincing enough that you'd think it was the same voice once you saw who showed up.

Except it wasn't his voice at all:

I thought it meant he was going to his inevitable (literal) death, and the series was over. I guess he's gotten out of worse situations, but that seemed fairly final to me.

Snow Patrol is one of those bands that I must've found at just the right time in my life, because they can kind of do no wrong for me (even though I know that Chasing Cars is an objectively terrible song, and they have others like it). Final Straw is still one of my favorite albums, and their most recent one was

This, exactly! I didn't understand the reviewer saying that we weren't given the real answer of what happened. We obviously were. The show wasn't "winkingly determining that that, too, was a lie." It was winking at all the fans who would inevitably be disappointed, no matter what the solution was, after two years of

I just watched it on their site, and it's 11 central. So pretty quickly, actually.

Love it! Their new album is super fun (check out This Old Ghost Town, it's a fantastic tune).

Here's part of the speech. I thought it was an interesting choice to make it a quieter discussion with his closest men (maybe just because I think it would have been hard to top Branagh's version if they'd gone with the battle cry interpretation).

It's pretty hard not to make Fringe comparisons with this show. Like, "So Abby’s on permanent “weird shit” duty now? And Ichabod is, I dunno, a civilian consultant?" It's pretty much Fringe 2, with supernatural weird shit instead of scientific weird shit. And I love it.

According to another review I read, the press was specifically asked not to spoil anything about the "twist" in reviews. Which is silly, considering how much is in the trailers, but oh well.

Boring choice, but he could still be good. Will he have to fake an English accent like Tennant, though? If we don't get a female Doctor or a not-white Doctor, can we at least have a Scottish Doctor, please?

Exactly! "The football jargon is perfectly, hilariously vague" is true, except for the Arsenal references, which are perfectly, hilariously specific.

I may be the only one, but I really loved Khaled Hosseini's And The Mountains Echoed. Yes, the plots can get melodramatic, as all of his do, but something about the way he writes makes them seem less so, somehow.

Here's the Gary Lightbody cameo, if you're curious.

He would be really good, but the trend seems to be for younger actors. Maybe David Oyelowo?

I thought that was a funny line until I started following Arsenal and realized how depressingly true it is.

I just love that Psych has now had 4/5 of the Breakfast Club as guest stars. Emilio Estevez, we're waiting on you!

I saw her last week, it was a fantastic show. She played a lot of new stuff and a lot from I Speak Because I Can, which was great. Have fun!
