"…put it in perspective and show you how little people watch TV on Fridays.."

no shit?  Poor day if you don't learn somethin.  Thanks!

I'm not a bit surprised by Gates being nonplussed by your antics.  After all, she was Alec Baldwin's wife in Hunt for Red October.  I imagine his off-screen antics were pretty risque (though obviously not as epic as yours, Frakes).

PT 109 was a childhood favorite.  Sad day.

just because it never gets old…

that IS how you handle action picard…in a 43-minute small screen format.  I just dont' see how that translates compellingly to the big screen

Picard with a broadsword would be amazing and I believe he could have actually pulled it off without it seeming weird.

Whoa!  I'm from Middletown.  crazy!  I was about 14 when it came out.  The billboard was on rt 13, just South of Odessa near Capt. Bones bait shop.

@avclub-c54c561b74163f70a5572998e3955227:disqus   About last week's post: Too Weird. I'm from (and
have moved back to) Middletown.  When this movie came out I was..14, maybe? The First Contact billboard was on Rt 13 just south
of Odessa.

I think we should do that one movie that comes after insurrection.  Just cause that would be amazing.

as an example of a TNG foray into philosophy/ethics I think The Drumhead trumps Measure of a Man as an intro… Just by a hair and only because it has more contemporary relevance in a post 9/11 world.

also, where's Poochie?

Oh my friends, MY FRIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEENDS, don't ask me!!!

I am feeling genuine concern.  What the hell is up this week?  No Mrs. Peel either?   Richelieu?

DEATH TO THE OPPOSITION!!!

plus she has a bit o' the mpdg thing going on. would hit that.

Borg is the brand of my toilet.  Maybe DisQuss recognizes that…

People forget that TMP was still living in the shadow of 2001: A Space Odyssey - good, arty sci-fi was SUPPOSED to be ponderous.  I think of it as a more cinematic choice than a cinematic fuckup.

there were some tantalizing undeveloped hints in Voyager.  During a time travel plot when they were in the past, an alien scoffed at the Borg's 'new experiment' in cyborg tech….or am I making that up.

Seriously, though…
