Full Throttle. I haven't thought about that game in years. I had so much fun playing that game, even if I did rage quite a few times. I really liked the music too. I remember going out of my way to get a CD of the Gone Jackals (their music was heavily featured in the games ost). Thanks for the memories Dikachu. And

The animation reminded me of Home Movies, which used "squiggle vision": https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Dr Katz was animated in this way too, but I never watched that show.

The BMO line about skinny dipping really caught me off guard, probably the most I've laughed at AT in a while.

I love stopmotion, so this episode already gets an A from me. But it also ties with "Food Chain" for the best of the guest directed episodes. Check out the making of here: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

That's is really fucking clever. Kudos to the writers. And thanks for clearing that up.

I just rewatched season one yesterday and I'm pretty sure I heard another F-bomb. Its when Diane is visiting her family and mentions that they are immigrants, one of the brothers says (roughly): "We're American as fuck!" Though that line is more about being funny than trying to make some sort of emotional impact.

Loved that part with Lazy Susan. I was thinking "oh hey, its a young LS! But wait, her eye is ok… oh, there it is."

You know, I was going to say that you're looking too much into it, but now I feel it very well could be Eva inspired. I didn't even think of the Steven/mom Shinji/mom angle. Though the pod filling up with breathable fluid initially made me think of the Abyss: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I love Scrooged and Muppets Christmas Carol, but I would add 1970 musical film Scrooge if you're going back 50 years. It has Albert Finney, Alec Guinness, and some of the best songs ever. Yes even better than the Muppets version.

This really is the best episode of Rick and Morty. The "Ozymandias" comparison is spot on.

As the owner of a 1st gen Zune, this episode hit close to home.

Am I the only one who saw the nods to Akira?

I remember being at a large super bowl party when The Matrix trailer aired. The whole room got quiet right away, and at the end everyone was just blown away.
