Can we dispense with using Zionist as a pejorative? Zionist means that you support the right of the state of Israel to exist. That describes the vast majority of the American population. Right-wing Zionism is much thornier, as then it's supporting the right of the state of Israel to exist, regardless of the effect it

The third act of that movie was James Bond in HOME ALONE.

Is this where we come to talk about lincoln liking the men? Cause I thought that stuff was done with admirable nuance. You could leave the theater and have no idea Lincoln digged on guys, or leave saying "Wow, they actually put the gay thing right out there."

I remember seeing a trailer for this, so at some point this film was supposed to be in theaters. I wonder what other than "well, it's awful" pushed it onto DVD.

I second House of Leaves with all my might. It's          the only book             I've ever read              that           viscerally               unsettled              me.                   Evenseeminglyinnocousstufflike 'always' rhyming with 'hallways' (and echoinggniohce it) c r e e p e d me out.

"Even Batman, by far the best of that first series…"
But… but… I thought the A.V. Club consensus was that the darker, weirder Batman Returns was the best of the first set Batman movies. Did I miss a newsletter?

I didn't see the actual Robin reveal coming although it was obviously a passing of the torch from pretty early on. I did however call the Talia al Ghul thing from about a third into it simply from Ebert's rule about irrelevant characters. Here we have Nolan's BFF Marion Cotillard playing a character who has no actual

The "fire hydrant" plot wasn't dropped.  It was just used to push George to accept Dallas's offer to do the work on her boutique, because he needed the money to pay the Shays.  It was a means to an end in the Dallas/George plot, not a plot of its own.

Delicious-looking dinner?  Did I miss something, or did the main course look like a bowl of raw carrots?

I love the actor who plays Linc (I love all Deadwood alums as a general rule), but his quirkiness is getting silly. That scene where he was reclining with his head hanging down? What was that? Next time, let's have him do his briefing while riding a pony. Then he can meet with the sheriff on a seesaw.

Not for my children!  Not again!

3.) Have you seen how much birthday cards cost now?  Like $4 each.  That's two kids, one with 18 birthdays, and one with 15.  That's like $132.  Big bucks for someone who's broke.

Don't say anything negative about TV's Minka Kelly's well.  Not here.
