I didn't think it was THAT bad. I see a few common comments I don't agree with that I'd like to address.

Just my two cents: I've been wishing for a "Spoiler Space" type thing on AV Club for a while. I have no intention of seeing this dumb movie, but next time I do go to the theater I'd love to have a place on AV Club to return to and read some discussions about the movie's content beyond the superficial ones possible in…
"Orange is the new black" was a commercial slogan for Nickelodeon's "Snick" series of shows because they had an orange couch. Are You Afraid of the Dark? was one of the shows on Snick.
I have not read any of her other books.
I was going to comment on how strange it was to love a book very much (Ender's Game) and have NO interest in reading sequels in the series by the same author, but then I remembered I haven't read the more recent Adrian Mole books either, so I guess it's not that strange after all.
As a non-practicing Jew who grew up and still lives in Los Angeles, I have not encountered that much casual anti-semitism. Most people I've met don't care what anyone is or does, and barely anybody I know practices religion of any kind.
So YOU'RE the guy! The guy with a positive attitude towards menstruation.
I'm pretty sure it's actually about a house that eats people.
I was very disappointed by this movie. How could an adventure movie written by Moffat, Wright, and Cornish, directed by Spielberg, produced by Jackson, be anything short of excellent? I thought. I was primed to love it.
My favorite moments are always when the celebrity guests argue, a la this episode and Corbin Bernsen and Phil Hartman. Very funny stuff.
Toph! That's that kid's name. I just watched these two eps this morning and I couldn't remember it, and nobody addressed her by name at any point. (In my defense, this is my first time going through the series, and it's been four or five months since I last watched an episode.)
Maybe the iPhone is partially why I'm having problems. The screen IS small and it's hard to always connect the letters how I want when the pressure is on. More than once I have had a good five-letter word in mind and my finger slips a bit and ends up triggering a three- or four-letter word by mistake.
That's a good point. You may be right.
I actually kind of love those weird lulls because that's when I catch up on TV Club Classic shows.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. It seems like it should be at least a LITTLE cheaper than the physical edition.
Indeed! I hadn't heard about that. Thanks for letting me know! It doesn't immediately grab me, but Adventure Time is so great that if/when it does become a series I'll definitely watch it.
Is Lorenzo Music still alive? I would pay double the price of a standard ticket to see that.
It can be annoying, but I sort of understand why they do it from a marketing perspective. TV fans (like me) know that in September a BUNCH of new shows are starting and we read articles about them and decide which ones to watch. I'm sure even casual viewers are aware that fall is when new things are.
Most entertainment industries do this, don't they? It used to be a big problem in video games where all the best stuff was released in the same three-month period between the end of summer and Thanksgiving. It's still crowded there, but more and more major games are finally being released in other times of the year…
I am bad at Boggle. I am also bad at Puzzlejuice. I remain unable to get the 200x combo and unlock the next set of challenges. I might give up. Any Puzzlejuice experts have tips? Should I do more three-letter words? I mostly don't bother since they don't cause explosions in that mode.
