Shit, imagine being Eno and waking up to this news. Devastating.

My first exposure to David Bowie was seeing the video for "Ashes to Ashes" on an episode of Night Flight. The surreal imagery (an astronaut bound to a wall! A weird clown in front of a bulldozer!) was seared into my young and impressionable mind - to paraphrase the man, himself, it both terrified me and made me party.…
1) This is such a weird lineup in the sense that I really have no desire to see any of the three headliners (the Strokes, in particular, is such a let down - a more boring live band, I've never seen), but the rest of the card ranges from intriguing to really, really solid.
How dare you besmirch the good name of Misfits of Science and Starman?
"Hey, remember why you liked Daredevil Season 1? Remember? Remember all the stuff that happened? He's blind! He's a ninja! His friends found out! Kingpin, am I right?
No.
Scandal - "The Warrior"
Have you read the novella The Butcher of Anderson Station? The show's depiction of the events was pretty much taken directly from that. It's going to be interesting to see what other material they might bring in from stories outside the main novels.
As someone who's seen the first 6 episodes, I can attest that there is absolutely zero chance they make it through Leviathan Wakes. I'll be surprised if they even make it through 3/4 of the book.
Jared Harris is putting on a clinic for the other actors in this show. Not that everyone else isn't doing at least OK, but he's so effortlessly nailing his scenes.
People are the worst. "Oh, this thing I loved is coming back and I'm mad because they told me they weren't coming back." Wow, that really sucks, bro. By all accounts, those farewell shows were pretty epic, Shut Up and Play the Hits was a fun watch, and now we get more music and more shows. Seems to me like everyone's…
Jinx!
No mention of 1987 sci-fi classic Batteries Not Included means this list is invalid. C'mon, guys - they left the door wide open on that one.
Do you think this means we'll finally get to see Axl fight Bob Guccione, Jr. from SPIN?
Cool story, bros: This record saved my life. In the summer of 2001, I was driving overnight back from Ohio to New York City after a whirlwind road trip to ride every roller coaster at Cedar Point. During the part of the drive that took me through rural Pennsylvania (i.e., the Hell of There Being Nothing of Interest),…
Ratings are not so good, yet, but they also had the first four episodes online for the past few weeks, so I'd be curious as to how the streaming numbers have been.
I hope I can get electrocuted there like I did at the original CBGBs.
I wasn't buying her in this role in the first two episodes - it seemed like she didn't understand a word that was coming out of her mouth…or, at least, that she couldn't deliver it with enough conviction to make it seem like she did. But this episode finally gave her something to do and she did it well. I look forward…
Some of my favorite movies could have easily been plays…hell, some of them *were* plays before making it to the screen. I'm not sure how that works as a knock.
I've been nervously avoiding the film because I love the musical so much and am worried about being let down, but this is a nice endorsement to hear.
