Rushed
This came real quick on the heels of "Magic," and it sure sounds like it. Lyrically, the songs all sound like first drafts of song ideas ("Queen of the Supermarket" IS silly, yes.), and tonally, it's all over the place, Which is to be expected on a Springsteen album to an extent, but this album as whole just

Do you remember "Alf," Bart?
Best line of the night? Second only to "This thing broke while I was pretending it was my penis."

The "prettiest" show on TV
Your opening paragraph hit the nail on the head for me, Noel. This is one of the most fun shows on TV, handled expertly. And it's one of the prettiest looking shows on TV. Now if only my cable provider would offer USA in HD….

Here, here, Mikey Mike: the Seinfeld rip-off-iness was twofold with this episode. Still funny, though.

Not just "Secret of My Success"…
…but ALL Michael J. Fox movies. I have, and will, see every movie he's in. All of which, except for "Greedy," I will watch again countless times. If I were to list the 10 Movies I Have Willingly Seen Most Often, "The Hard Way" would easily rank right up there. The "Back to the

Andre Braugher's other show. No, not that one, the other one.
Here I was thinking I was the only one lamenting the late, great "Thief." Never have I liked a show that came and went so fast. It's the only show FX has ever produced that I actually liked, and I'm sure if it were to air now, now that "The Wire" has

Thanks Tasha. I was under the impression that the only thing I would miss out on by passing up Season 2 is Amy Ryan. Now, I'll have to give it a go.

"The Shield" and all other FX network shows are all my pieces of "resisted art." Only exception to this: "Damages," because it had the good fortune of airing in the summer, when there's exactly dick on to watch. But all of the FX shows, dramas and comedies alike, have the same formula: take a bunch of evil asshole

I'm playing catch-up with "The Wire" on DVD. Now, I've heard this before but I NEED to know…can I legitimately skip Season 2 and move right into Season 3? I know that it's the weakest of the 5 (Well, supposedly it is.). But is there truly no carry-over from Season 2? Or would I be at a loss going into Season 3 w/o

Tracy Morgan seems to have defied the laws of basic human biology. He was big when he started out, fell into alcoholism, got skinny while boozing, got back on the wagon (forcibly), and puts the weight back AFTER he stops drinking.

This season
I think this season has been the strongest so far in a production sense: each show seems to be moving faster, the handling of top three and bottom three simultaneously is a bonus, but…
I've had enough of the commercials that are really just a quick 45 seconds of the show. Either put it in the show or don't

My office…
…needs a conference call. NOW!

I'm as much of a fan as "Night Court" as the next guy, (Well, except for mbs maybe.) but can "Dave's World" get no love? Y'know, the other sitcom that starred Harry Anderson? The one based on Dave Barry and his life? Watching the show last night, I was rhapsodizing to my wife how I miss both shows.

"This is Andy Bernard!" was easily the line of the night. Also awesome? "On a scale of 1-10, how attractive do you think that dude rigth there is?" It was Andy's night, through and through.

She was in Pootie Tang?!?!? Wow, just when I thought I couldn't find her any dreamier….

Never too late
Finally! Someone picks up the board game movie adaptation craze after "Clue." If "Monopoly" is half as good as "Clue", it's sure to be rented countless times from 7-11 by a six year old me in a parallel universe. I wonder if Tim Curry's free for this??

Sounds like…
…"Jaws: The Ride: The Movie"

Costumes through the years
Best as a kid:
Homemade ALF costume. Took second place in my elementary school's costume contest.

And how!
