Mary Poppins+LaDanian Tomlinson

I think this was the same guy I saw on Ellen talking about how evil meat is and Ellen fucking DeGeneres was punching holes in his arguments. He seemed like an incredibly stupid person with a powerful gift for words and some very elitist friends.

@Jaybee Interesting compare and contrast: My parents wouldn't let me watch the Simpsons because, "That kid [Bart, I assume] needs a good smack in the mouth." I still haven't seen a whole episode.

Thanks. If that was Angel's follow up line, I haven't seen these episodes in forever. Whedon really must love westerns. You have Lorne, Angel and Spike both have names probably inspired by The Wild Bunch and of course the chase sequence on horseback. Oh and like all of Firefly.

Agreed. Cats are diabolical.

In addition the proclivity towards rye might be a nod towards his Dick Whitman days growing up in Tennessee (it was Tennessee, right?) where rye is pretty common I believe. Canadian Club is probably just a decent enough substitute and as such Draper would refer to it as "rye".

I Watched This New Canon of Flops That Time Forgot!
