This is Scooby Doo - if there is anything certain it is that there will be another series starring those characters. And I suspect that other creators will play off the ideas introduced here… Sort of like how this one mildly plays off the more adult elements introduced in a few of the Direct to DVD movies (I am

I've been watching the first season on netflix and, I am scared to say, it's really good. Very good to be honest. I never expected to say that about a Scooby Doo series but somehow this show manages to be both campy fun and honestly interesting at the same time.

Okay - this show just popped up on Netflix's watch instantly and I have to say… It's addictive even for adults. Not sure what netflix just did but this show, "Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated", Batman Beyond, Normal Show and a rather good selection of Adult Swim just quietly appeared on that service…

In addition to JL/JLU/ Batman Beyond, Adventure time, regular show, Aqua Teen Hunger force and Squidbillies are on Netflix…

"Scary Movie 2 should have killed off a franchise that, as a dim parody of a smart satire (Scream), was conceptually flawed to begin with." - Ummm… "Scary Movie 2" didn't have much to do with "Scream" - that would have been the first "Scary Movie"…

What if… What if Clara is some sort of time displaced/disjointed version of Susan? Susan, being at the very least a Gallifreyan (or at most a Time Lady in her own right) might have had some odd stuff happen to her since we last saw her in "The Five Doctors"…

It was Clara's pep talk to the Queen of years - Amy is living in the past on Earth right now. :-)

I loved those monologues. The problem is… well, this episode was about monologues… I'd rather see interaction between the Doctor and Clara rather than watch them monologue to other people.

Gotta say - I've liked Whitehouse's work for the show better than Cross's. Cross has turned out some very good episodes (This one included) but they tend to feel less well constructed than something like "The God Complex" or "A Town Called Mercy" (And I really liked "School Reunion" - not only did I get Sarah Jane but

Well, I have a suspicion that Matt Smith is getting ready to jump off into movies soon enough (Especially if the rumored big budget movie in a couple years is real)… that would give River the perfect opportunity to show up one last time.

On the TARDIS doors - I just write it up to the TARDIS cleaning up after the Doctor from time to time - "Oh, he left the darn doors open again! I'll close them for him."

What I found particularly fascinating about the info the Doctor let's loose was a small line - every other incarnation of the new series treated his grand-daughter as almost a painful secret. But in this one, the Doctor just let's that slip almost without thinking to Clara. And, of course, that will fuel endless

I have to agree… This was a solid "B" episode for me. I liked the idea of the episode but the execution seemed more muddled than it needed to be.

I have one slight problem with "They've got a secret" and it's the same problem I had with a few episodes this season… There is a missing character beat in it. In "Secret" the problem is Crichton and his quick diagnosis of Moya's pregnancy. I get that he is smart and could probably put 2 and 2 together. But… Let's

To be honest, this season has felt… I don't know… The show is a very fine and very witty sitcom. That's not a bad thing to be but it feels like a step down from where it was in the first three seasons. There are a few things wrong with it as far as characters and their actions go but nothing that horrible. It's just

I always missed Talia… It felt like she got written out rather too quickly. It's really down to Talia or Sinclair as to which had the most quick ushering out of the set.

You know… I have pretty much liked every series I have seen by Fuller. But here's the thing - a series from Fuller means that, at best, this will get 1.5 seasons before disappearing…

You know, when this cast was "On" there was nothing better than the way they did scenes with each other… and to be honest, this show is "On" much more often than it isn't. These are talented people being even more talented by being in proximity to each other.

I hear Armin Shimmerman did all his own stunts on Buffy too. That's why it took him so long after the end of season 3… going through the snakes digestive system takes awhile after all.

Not a very good idea for a Jurassic Park movie… But to be honest, in the right hands it might almost be a fun little summer movie in it's own right… A Del Toro type director playing up the basic campiness would be fun.
