Not a very good idea for a Jurassic Park movie… But to be honest, in the right hands it might almost be a fun little summer movie in it's own right… A Del Toro type director playing up the basic campiness would be fun.

I thought maybe it was a special AVClub type of math where 13 < 10…

"a midseason companion, Family Tools, that had its initial episode order cut from 10 to 13" - How does one "cut" a number from 10 by adding three extra episodes to it?

I get that. But there she was in one episode struggling with it and then the next was perfectly okay with holding Pilot down while it's arm was cut off. And to be honest, that felt sort of out of character for me.

If DC is doing a new comic based on the 66 Batman TV show does that possibly mean that a DVD set of it might finally see the light?

"PK Tech Girl" just doesn't work for me. The character of Gilina felt too "designed" for me - designed to be a person Crichton would fall for. It seemed more like an episode of the old Star Trek TOS where Kirk finds (yet another) perfect woman to fall in love with than a Farscape episode.

"DNA Mad Scientist" bugs me… I mean, I get D'Argo acting that way. I get Rygel. Heck, I even get Aeryn's motivations. But we just had an entire episode with Zhaan struggled to be able to cause pain in any way… Felt very bad about it… and explicitly said she had to regain her equilibrium afterward. And then the next

True… But the idea of a post-new episode deconstruction (Or, I guess in the case of TWD "Autopsy" would be appropriate) is not exactly a wonderfully new concept is all I am saying.

So, basically it's the same thing that the BBC does for Dr Who and has been doing for a few years now… being treated like a revelation…

They are too cute. That is entirely true. But if "Too cute" is a problem then, well, the entire series and the very setting of the show would be a turn off.

Not being a parent I can only assume here, but I would think any parent has that same obsessions with their kids virginity… especially single parents that became pregnant at a young age. The only difference here is that Lorelai is more open abotu it than most people.

I agree. Once is fun. Twice is fun. Every movie being the same self-aware pastiche is just a rut, though.

I don't watch this show, but… (Before I proceed, I am a fan of Dr Who since I was 10 back in the Tom Baker years)  you use a picture of a show that features a guy that travels in a magic box and uses a magic wand to regularly "reverse the polarity of the neutron flow" and you complain about the premise of a show being

Is anyone else noticing a certain resemblance in cast to another JJ Abrams show? We have some middling age actors in front who are either hunky or kinda sexy… fat guy in the back… The only thing that is missing is an older bald man and palm trees…

Never bothered to see the movie. Sorry, but Tarantino has burned me enough times - I always hear how his latest movie is so great, go to see it and discover it's just a pastiche of half baked homages to exploitation movies. So Tarantino isn't getting my money anymore… I have spent enough money to see his (to be

I'd to follow comics on a more regular basis, but as it is (with each issue costing $3.00) that is unrealistic. I am forced to wait for the trade paperbacks and therefore pick and choose what storylines I want to follow. Which pretty much counts out the longer ones like "Batman Inc"…

Because there is nothing like a recovering addict to be reasonable and introspective… ;-)

Except that implies that Merle was presented as a character capable of great amounts of introspection to begin with… which, in my eyes at least, wan't really the case. Merle was always sort of shown to be the epitome of reactionary and almost animalistic and not exactly a sensitive soul looking to question his own

I know… it's sad how entirely predictable this show is, considering it is set in a world with predictability should be the last thing that happens.

You know, I sort of get what they are doing here… They are trying to shade the main characters with the idea of making them "Antiheroes". The problem is that (Beyond the fact that antiheroes are boring at this point because they are a dime a dozen in pop culture) all that means is we are supposed to be on Ricks side
