I don't remember when I wandered away from the X-Files to be honest - Long before these episodes, I know that. Not sure what did it for me, other than the sense that it just wasn't going anywhere. I went to the first movie when it came out and rather enjoyed it. And I remember watching season 5 but it felt, right

Do relationships created on these shows ever work? I mean, really - how can a relationship based on lies and manipulation from the very first second possibly end up being long term?

I am of two minds when it comes to the Pertwee era of the show… I really like his version of the Doctor, I think that the show "Grew up" in those years and I agree that we ended up with more complex and intelligent scripts. On the other hand… well… I think a lot of the Pertwee years were kind of boring. Of course, I

But then again… shows with very little character growth aren't always a bad thing. After all, drop into the middle of an episode of "It's always sunny in philadelphia" this season after watching nothing but the second season and you wouldn't really be all that confused either. And that show is still lots of fun.

Okay - I have been wanting a Vastra and Jenny spinoff since "A good man goes to war". I honestly think that there could be some fun with a series set in Victorian London starring a Silurian detective, her lesbian wife and her stupid but violent butler… It would be a lot of fun to check in with them on a weekly basis.

I like this theory a lot… I was mildly worried that Oswin would just pop up with a new name and no explanation why the same actress was used in "Asylum of the Daleks" - but as soon as I heard her mention Souffle's I knew that there was something bigger planned by way of using that actress in two separate stories as

Actually, it does appear - at the very end.

For the same reason one uber-vamp in Buffy is almost unstoppable but thousands in the last episode could be fought with minro flourishes of untrained slayers hands. Because it makes them look cool.

I don't watch them every episode but I sample both "Family Guy" and "American Dad"… and something I have noticed is that even though I see a certain amount of overlap behind the scenes between the two shows and the fact that they were created by the same person, "American Dad" is consistently better than "Family Guy"…

I have to say… I watch this show on Netflix and season 2 was such a bust that I am in no hurry to watch season 3 of it. I'll probably get around to watching season 3 when it comes out and is streamable, but I am certainly not going to jump at the chance.

Perhaps on Bajor, candidates that lose elections sort of go away for a long long time and don't keep making more and more annoying statements… ;-)
