Perhaps on Bajor, candidates that lose elections sort of go away for a long long time and don't keep making more and more annoying statements… ;-)

Has anyone tried to go back and watch early episodes of this show? I tried to do that out of boredom this weekend and… I gotta say, this show seems to never have been all that good. I can go back and rewatch early seasons of "The Simpsons" and still laugh. Early seasons of "Family Guy" leave me sitting there saying "I…

I've never quite understood why Apple got away with it's "Think Different" campaign… If anything, being and Apple user is about conforming to Apple ideas and eschewing all other points of view. Let's face it - buy an Apple product and you have to use Apple hardware, Apple OS's, Apple software and Apple peripherals.

Interesting that the character that works so well by remaining ambiguous (Garak) is the one to use a machine that forces Odo into a concrete form as torture, don't you think?

You know… there is always something that struck me as a plothole in Zombie movies : Why not just hole up somewhere and wait for them to rot and fall to pieces?

You know, I thought that this season (Specifically "For British Eyes Only") wasn't bad per se… but it did feel like they were going for a slightly easier set of jokes. There were some parts of that episode that felt like they should have been in a Zucker-Abrahams movie like "Airplane" (Specifically the "Driving while…

Idea for a cool movie : (Filmed as a "Found Footage" movie, BTW) A man starts an online romance with a woman. Slowly he comes to realize that there are certain discrepancies associated with this other person. They piece together the clues until they discover that the person is a killer looking to murder them when they…

How did they do that? I mean, the election was tuesday and the episode ran wednesday… that's an incredibly fast turnaround even for this show..

Well, then fine - have the show go completely episodic if it wants to do that. I'd still watch because it would still be fun (Zombie attacks are definitely something that this show does well). But don't add in the serialized story elements unless the show will follow through.

Here's the thing though - it's based on an ongoing comic but there is no reason it has to be a slave to that comic. What works in comic books and monthly stories doesn't work so well on TV (and vice versa).

You are correct, not every show needs to be "Lost"… Personally I tired of that show after awhile.
