Well, I give up waiting for Netflix to get this show… I'm just going to go out to B&N tomorrow and pick up a copy of it.

I can speak to the "Would it work if you hadn't seen the show first" question : In my case, no. To be honest, when I walked out of that movie (Not having seen the show at all) I had a very - VERY - negative impression of it. I felt it was too disjointed and required an emotional connection to characters that, given…

Silly question… Why is this farm considered to be safe? Yeah, it's away from major population centers, but then again - it's apparently kinda close to a town that seems to have it's own supply of zombies that can pour out every time anyone goes near it. Unless the zombies are into nesting, then it seems to me that a…
You know… you seem to have broken into a hidden treasure trove of Simpsons episodes I don't think I have ever seen before. Last week and this one are episodes that, for some unaccountable reason, I cannot remember ever seeing even once. I didn't get Fox on my TV until roughly around season 5 or 6 of the Simpsons and…

In all honesty, I was rather surprised that there was so little for either Amy or Rory to do this episode… Each had some funny lines, Amy made a minor impact on the plot while reading the riot act to the Dr - that that could have been done by any character. Neither of them were actually integral to this episode -…

It's a good episode and it has a lot going for it. Unfortunately it always suffers in my mind because I wanted more of a straight Eclipso story and didn't really like the new origin for that villain… Otherwise it's a lot of fun though.

Actually, I got a very different vibe from Amy's fantasy sequence… I thought that Moffat was doing a homage to "Carnival of souls"…
