SPOILERS

I like the Kira-Vedek subplot only a little less, and only because it disturbs me more. So much of Trek I have a certain ironic detachment from. I mean it's the death of a wrinkle-nosed alien spirit-priestess whose gods live in a wormhole. This is ridiculous. But I can't watch that scene without getting goosebumps.

Finally. "Rocks and Shoals."

You have a point insofar as that episode sucked, but the actor really wasn't so bad. He committed to a stupid part and did his best with it.

At long last, the sandwich-heavy portfolio is no longer paying off for the hungry investor.

Yeah AVClub, go on with the Father Ted reviews. Go on. Go on. Go on then. Go on go on go on. Go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on GO ON.

As the story goes (and I wish I could find a link to the article I read this in) George Meyer came up with the rant all at once and what's in the episode is pretty much what he said off the top of his head.

My favourite Thirty Helens Agree:

Dipping Areas, for those who haven't seen it:

You know… he might like it.

Having worked in tech support, to me the best part of this show is how it gets both that users are stupid and that tech support is insufferable.

You snark, O'Neal, but how else are we supposed to be able to tell how much we're enjoying a show?

I don't think I've ever looked in this drawer… Wow! A gun!

"STANDARD NERDS"

Imagine the evil genius of Vizzini in a Bruckheimer summer blockbuster. I'm picturing a show-stealing performance on the level of Alan Rickman in Robin Hood.

I've got a gun to your head @avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus , and I'm forcing you to choose between Andersons.

Same here. I read them when I was 11. I still have my set of the first four from the late 80s-early 90s edition, the one with the four-picture puzzle spread out like a mosaic on the four covers. I've got to buy another copy of each because if I reread the series again the books will fall apart.

That website at the end there lists Zach Braff's ethnicity as "Jewish people." Suppose that's better than "ein Juden" or one of our less savory words for that.

I think we can all agree Warwick Davis has the right idea here.
