Devil's Rejects isn't exactly a great movie, but don't let that stop you from seeing it. As far as the direction and acting and all that goes, it's just competent, but I have to say that it is a movie that I think about more frequently than most others. The simple idea that even though the family are sadistic

Jesus, that interview was one of the most cringe-worthy things I've seen in a while. I had to turn it off and I managed to watch this

MISS Chanandler Bong

I think I'll do a Sandoz inventory: "Movies I wish I'd walked out of". Crash would be at the top of the list. This would come the week after my "Movies I'm very proud to have walked out of", which would have "Where the Wild Things Are" at number 1.

I'll be watching Neon Genesis Evangelion for the fifth time. I like me some Oedipal complex mixed in with my giant robots.

My friend, I assure you that nobody will question your hipster cred if you're familiar with the output of people like Wale, Kanye West, or Jay-Z. Or maybe they will. If they do, fuck 'em. All of those people have released very good albums.

Yeah, I usually end up blowing my J&C check on mayonnaise and Magic: The Gathering cards most months, though, instead of investing in a diverse portfolio of stocks and long-term bonds.

I only started listening to Wale like a week ago, and I started with "Attention Deficit". I must have listened to the whole thing like 10 times. It's great. Then I put on The Gifted and was like da fuq is this? I don't even agree that LoveHate Thing is that good a track. I think it mostly sounds like warmed-over

Every time someone says "Japanese game show" I totally understand what they mean, but the fact is that there are actually very few genuine game shows in Japan. Sasuke, or Ninja Warrior was kind of a thing, but it's cancelled now and it only came on twice a year. Who Wants to be a Millionaire, hosted by the Japanese

I don't understand how you understand, like, anything written on this site without having seen the Simpsons or Seinfeld.

I was thinking to myself how much I pity the generation after me because they won't be able to relate virtually every situation in their lives to a joke from the Simpsons, Seinfeld or Friends.

It did decline in quality, but only mildly, if I remember correctly. It's not like the Simpsons where it just became unwatchable. I wasn't around for the last season, but I've seen it in reruns and pretty much all the episodes were genuinely funny.

The Apprentice UK is so superior to the American version it's hard to fathom why they anyone would ever watch the American one.

There are quite a few British-isms, naturally, but that's actually not one of them. He says "You're fired" just like in the American version.

I'm disappointed to find out that Tokyo Drift hasn't happened yet because, uh, I kinda liked it.

"It’s the action-movie equivalent of K-Pop."

I have only one question: Did they fix the abysmal pronunciation of "Satsuki" in the new dub? In Japanese, the "u" is slurred over in conversation so it comes out like "Saht-ski", not "Saht-soo-kee" like they did in the original dub.

Fuck best of the 2000s. Spirited Away is one of the best movies ever.

Don't be embarassed. Anime is fucking awesome.

Since these are family movies, I'd say one of the more likely uses for the DVD is to watch in the back of the minivan while the Blu-Ray stays at home.
