I mention LARP because that's where most of my experience with the game lies, and also because I've found that LARPs have a more schizophrenic tone to their plots than tabletop games due primarily to the larger number of people involved.

I don't know how many fans of True Blood (or at the very least, people who read these reviews) are also LARPers, but I'm going to try to express this in the most user-friendly way I can.
