Sadly true.

I freaking loved On Stranger Tides. Pirates, magic, swordfights! I couldn't put it down and loved every pulpy minute.

See Havana before the big corporations get a foothold there. It's an interesting feeling being in a major urban centre without any familiar brands or products or advertising. Also, the city is decaying, but gorgeous.

Saw The Little Prince and it was wonderful. The two different styles of animation fir together very neatly and the stop-motion, paper figures beautifully capture the feeling of Saint-Exupery's illustrations. The film didn't do a straight adaptation as much as use the book as a character in a story about growing up.

MeGa Giraffe is a keen observer of the middle school condition.

Thanks! Yeah, Pyramids isn't the most compelling book, but it does have some salient things to say about the inertia of tradition and the need for new ideas. All the best bits are in Ankh-Morpork and the Assassins guild though, especially the speech about why Assassins kill.

In Colour of Magic what is the true name of the Sender of Eight?

Thank you!

Now working on Science of the Discworld II: The Globe which feels a bit less rigourous in its science, but what do I know. I'm just a layman. I accidentally read a bit of the Princess Bride to a friend and almost ended up side-tracking myself with that wonderful novel. Watch out! Here's a Pratchett review.

The Muppet Movie?

I knew it was Juneau thanks to the movie Blast from the Past

He wears a t-shirt, but he has two serpents growing out of his shoulders.

Well, neither movie is very good, so you may have lucked out. What if I added Tom Waits and Gary Cole to that list?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Rank your Satans from the following list

That scene where Roadblock melts and his eyeball runs down his face gave me nightmares as a kid.

"You know I used to be man,
Tried to play by the rules
Had a wife and a dog, walked my kid to the schools.
Not like my brother, who fought in their wars,
In exchange for a drinking problem, and lots of support.
Not any more, they found their bodies spread across the highway
Head on collision with some family who couldn't

And inspired the fun indie comic "Snakor's Pizza", in which the genetically engineered former leader of a snake based terrorism group opens a pizza place when he gives up on world domination.
