"Super attack BATS, mutant pack rats,
Souped up goons and platoons with backpacks.
Atomic shrink rays to orbital tractor beams.
I got it all, for any kind of wacky scheme.

I'm gonna
Brain wash you bleeding hearts and hippies
Carve my face in the moon, so you'll never forget me!
Put mind control in everything, perfume to chewing gum
Psychos and maniacs? I'm always interviewing some
New members. Man, haven't you heard?
Ask my accountant, he's the one dressed like a bird.
Turn your town around,…
Happy Birthday!
Okay Weaver, listen carefully. You can keep your red snapper, or you can go for what's in the box that Hiro-San is bringing down the aisle right now!
All my nostalgia buttons have been pushed. That seemed like the exact same sequence. Now I must put on pajamas and eat cereal in front of the tv.

Superman Returns contained joy. Man of Steel was joyless.
Plus beautifully written and animated, with terrific performances from all involved. No adaptation has been better than the DCAU.
As I recall, the Thing occasionally references his past as a UCWF wrestler.
There was a fun story where Supes and Marvel change bodies. It had a good perspective on the differences between the two, although I'm damned if I remember which issue it was. Some early 00's Action Comics, I think.
