Strata, yes! Like Reese's peanut butter cups, he keeps getting the chocolate of fantasy in the peanut butter of sci-fi and vice versa. To delicious effect.
It's not just about the t-shirts, although it should be because they are suh kewt.
Some of the best combination of Sci-fi and Fantasy is in Terry Pratchett's Discworld, Where fantasy tropes are examined through a science fiction lens. Of course, I'd tout the Discworld as the best example of most things, so your mileage may vary, but go check them out.

Went to Cuba over the X-mas break for the first time. I will definitely return. Havana is an astonishing city, beautiful and decaying all at once.
Anyone have any feedback on "F is for Family"? I watched the first episode, and it was fine, but didn't inspire me to watch any more. Has anyone seen it? Should I give it further consideration?
