I pity you, fool.
I pity you, fool.
OK, OK, to be really and truly fair, it's Vampire Weekend, not Grizzly Bear, that filled Sting's role. I'm shocked they don't have to pay royalties to The Police with every album they release.
"This is adult contemporary or easy listening."
It's a bit unfair to Sting to be honest. Maybe Air Supply would have been the better comparison.
Yeah, she's amazing. For newer bands, I really like Japanese Breakfast's Michelle Zauner's voice.
Bring back the McLaughlin Group!
Eleanor, gee I think you're swellanor!
"Examples of bands with great vocals in your opinion would be?"
Yes, I gave Venkmanamist many honest listens hoping to overcome the vocals (and its sheer ballessness) but it never stuck. I sort of hate the album to be honest.
Patty Patty Puke Puke!
Congrats on your pregnancy!
I'll settle for him just firing Hannity.
Man those SNL McLaughlin group sketches were hilarious.
FARTS.
Yeah, my first reaction was "Oh, this douche." Then upon reading the article, "Oh. That was nice."
I find the word titilating titillating.
Among other problems, this bands vocals really don't do it for me. I am glad though that we have someone to fill Sting's role in the music landscape.
Man, when we were invited to a birthday party at Showbiz, we were in a state of high excitement and anticipation for weeks.
Could you imagine going through press junkets and having to play games/answer silly questions for the AV Club? Poor people.
You're a loon.
