It's a show that depends on the dynamics between characters. Setting one out on an island alone would be detrimental, especially one so underdeveloped.
Yeah, I was found it very underwhelming too. It certainly had some funny bits but no strong storyline to carry it or pick up the slack from the weaker ones.
