I mean comedies people see.

Am I missing something in the Grandma Flanders stray observation complaint? The plotline here obviously came after the Lisa's First Word flashback, so why wouldn't it make sense for her to have died here? I'm not seeing a continuity problem (at least not that continuity problem).

Not completely true, but yes in the case of some of the heavier players (also depending on when you mean by "back then").

How cooperative was the band in this? I know they once employed Wall, but I have no idea what their relationship is now. If the answer is "some, but not too much," I might read this, but I think I already know enough about Sabbath without having to go too much into the Ian Gillam years or whoever they brought in

Can we get Tom Hanks back to doing comedies?

I wish the porch lights hadn't been hit off—we might have seen seven drink Amy.

Merry-Go-Round was on the radio the other day. I enjoyed it, but I can't think of a time I actually felt I had to hear it.

I'm just surprised Steve Coogan is playing a forty-four year-old. Apparently he's forty-nine, but I would have guessed about an extra decade. British thing I guess.

Sierra Mist and Squirt.

Also he had to endure killing that lady.

Jerry became really Christian in the early 80s after the orignal break-up, the same time Glenn embraced going eviler. They still do a lot of the older songs and are free with the obscenities so it's odd to see that's where they draw the line.

Reese Witherspoon? So fucking what?

The best example is in the character development of Haley. It seemed that from week to week the show could never decide if they waned her to be a ditzy idiot or a smart maturing woman.

I was never actually detained as a student (you know model citizen and all of that) so I have no idea what it actually amounts to, but was any of that realistic?

I think this was the first time they openly made her an obviously closeted lesbian. Because I guess they got tired of Brad jokes and want to explore a new direction.

The inconsistency in character development and personalities (most notably Haley) has been explained as two different showrunners handling episodes and refusing to speak each other over some long ago feud. I don't know how this affects the other members of the writing staff and their influence on individual episodes,

"So, I guess Joe and Lily are old enough to just stay at home by themselves now?"

"I'm so hungry, I could eat at Arby's."

They've figured out to get it to the people who sort by best by auto-generating likes.
