Nice to see him so spry and still able to pull it off comedically. The last three things I remember him doing: surviving a car fire about two years ago, marrying a woman half his age, and producing a rap album with the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer.

I was legitimately surprised it got a second season after the first had such low viewership. And yes, it definitely got much better in the second year.
Which were the George Carlin ones? Also, how the hell did that happen?
The best Blue's Clues episode was the Homicide: Life on the Street episode where the guy who lives with the blue dog shot the high school basketball player.
Between Avatar and when its sequels come out, it's been bomb movie after bomb movie (with a bomb TV show thrown in for a diversified portfolio).
Somehow it cycled around to where Tim Allen is the one with the career again.
And that really peaked in the news cycle long before October 2010 (like May 2010).
Pol. Pot. Pol. Pot. Pol Pot Pol Pot Pol Pot Pol Pot.
I'm sorry, but the American national anthem will always be "Livin' On A Prayer."
Cancer can hit you at any age.
Agreed, not a popular choice, because I assume many people have no idea what it is.
Err . . . most of the conservative backlash against GMOs is an economic reaction rather than a strictly political one (of course these aren't entirely mutual concepts, but there is still a distinction). The vaccine issue is more complicated because the conservative issue is more against government forced vaccinations…
I think we can all agree that both conservatives and liberals are pretty anti-science; they just choose to ignore which science refutes their beliefs.
That's why I have two browsers: one for normal stuff, and one where I'm not signed up where I can search for weird shit that society shouldn't know interests me.
They did an episode about buying a car a few seasons ago, and I think it was supposed to be new. Or it's possible Homer doesn't know what an actual part is called and referred to it as a carburetor.
Saw him for the first time a few months ago and it totally kicked ass. I make it a point to only like bands officially endorsed by Lemmy—it never fails.
I watched Fallon's Tonight Show a total of once and honestly, most of the complaints I had were the same things I don't like about Conan, just amplified a little, so it's strange someone from that department would have said viewpoint.
Friday: A Mountain Goats show. Their new material about pro-wrestling didn't exactly dominate the set, but still made up a decent amount of the show. I warmed up to some of it, but still prefer the classics. Also, most heavy metal T-shirts I've ever seen at a non-metal concert.
Norm is really a bright guy who's always played kinda dumb, so I would actually watch that, assuming he wouldn't take it completely seriously.
I'm just gonna be honest here—not really a situation I see coming up for me.
