People are also forgetting that the internet has made sketch comedy somewhat different. Youtube lets anyone put up sketches, which can be seen as good and bad. But I would say that to me, the 90s were better for sketch as well. I am still getting used to Awesome Show, Great Job! as a sketch show. But I will say

I will tell you how not to get into comics: Infinite Crisis. I was lucky I had some background with superheroes, but my friends did not.

You people seem to be forgetting Madman. While I cannot totally relate to reading it in the 90's as intended, reading it now is fantastic. (Even if Mike Allred's writing is clunky at times)
