Everytime I think the SU fandom can't possibly outdo bronies in general awfulness they prove me wrong!!!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFF

I'll never forget watching the Wonder Showzen pilot for the first time on the internet before it became a series. The only description was "deranged kids show" so I thought it was actually intended for children which only made it more disturbing.

Most classic rock stations play stuff from the late 60s onward to the late 80s with a smattering of Pearl Jam and Nirvana sprinkled throughout. Also The Black Crowes. A lot of Black Crowes.

I always laugh when I hear that song because whenever it came on the radio my uncle would impersonate Beavis doing the "OO-WAA-AA-AA-AA" thing.

Korn wasn't terrible because at least Jonathan Davis wasn't phoning it in. He actually wrote songs about traumatic experiences instead of wanting something to break.

Nu metal will never die as long as suburban modern rock radio stations exist. I swear they change their playlists about once every 10 years, and every single one is exactly the same no matter where you go.

He would have done a blues record and I'm sure he would have collaborated with Michael Stipe.

I was surprised to hear the Ice King sing that one royalty free disco song that was on Rocko's Modern Life one time

"I uh……I came."

The first time I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit I thought "You know, this is great, but it would be a lot better if it sounded like a Sonic The Hedgehog 3 level."

It reminded me of a Spongebob live action cutaway

"I had to BEAT OFF three other guys!"

tossup between Bob's happy place song and "Oil spiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllll…….."

It got worse near the end of its run. By that point TRL was one of the only times you'd get to see music videos on MTV and they would cut them down to like 30 seconds.

the article mentions Tommy Lee but there's no mention at all of Vanilla Ice, who recorded one of the most unintentionally hilarious albums just as nu metal was taking off.

We all joke about it now but if you were a kid in the late 90s and you didn't think Korn and Limp Bizkit were the coolest bands on earth you are lying.

kind of a low blow considering he's autistic :(

Soup's on!

DAMN IT you got me all excited when I saw this scrolling through twitter. I thought they were bringing this intro back. Disappointed
