thank you for writing about bodega boys; please continue to do so

Kind of bummed not to see Conrad Ricomora's How To Get Away With Murder character mentioned here - sure, he's not a main cast member, and mostly exists in relation to a white person, but you could say the same about Dong. His relationship is FAR from sexless, he has a fair amount of agency, and has the added bonus of

i can't be the only one shocked by how amazing gethard and teti's chemistry is

Some people call me Pringles dick, but I never really found out -

hannibal beats breaking bad in the final or i find a hat and eat it

they yelled it in pittsburgh tonight at fotc, and jemaine clement said something along the lines of "never yell that again for any reason, it's never funny."

also: the implication here is that "hi, how are you" by daniel johnston and "you shouldn't-nuf bit fish" by george clinton are either a.) adequately appreciated or b.) not great, and i cannot abide either of those implications

129 musicians.
117 white musicians.

i was CERTAIN the pilot of "stella" would've been on here
that was a pretty dumb thing to be certain of

She says to Ven that his garment “feels like it’s three dresses in one,” which I guess by her standards is two-and-a-half dresses too many.
YOU'RE CRAZY FOR THIS ONE, TETI

is nobody talking about how fucking hilarious tracy believing dot com is his imaginary friend was?

definitely, though b's found decidedly less mainstream acceptance than ofwgkta. point well taken, though. and speaks to my larger point: avclub should probably stop attempting to speak with authority about current trends in hip-hop.

which plays into the point made about the necessity of flashy visuals, but it'd be hard to deny that odd future (or tyler at the very least) fit the criteria of "youtubers making hip-hop" who became "breakout stars"

submitted as counterpoint: Odd Future, who have a significant self-cultivated web presence outside of youtube, but who were toiling in relative obscurity until the release of the "Yonkers" video.

is everybody else unable to play vevo/umg videos on avclub without opening a new window? and, if so, couldn't we find a different way to embed the tracks, avclub?

"In the tradition of ugly-looking, convention-flouting animated series…"

"stars sign off on the idea"
thinkin' he probably meant "Starz"
