The *kind* of script that had it featured one more scene of incidental live music playing or people having fun at a wedding instead of a single scnee furthering along the decent plot (and decent movie, to be honest) would have sent me out of the theater screaming.

Dead serious. But not all of them. Earlier ones like where he's Homer's boxing promoter or turning Moe's into a family restaurant are great. But dating Helen Hunt, changing the bar's theme to be more hip, dating a midget, …just don't do it for me.

The last five or so seasons of Simpsons, Moe has been a showblocker for me. Something's become grating in the show's treatment of him or the voice has changed or something. A Moe-centric episode now means I have even less hope for a new episode than usual.

How in Jack's name could you leave President Useless off that list? I mean, seriously…

This movie (and Se7en) are tops on my list of "I always watch this movie and remember enjoying it more the last time." I really, really enjoy it - oh, Sylvia Sydney, you chain-smoking wonder - but I'm always disappointed after seeing it.
