The difference is, unlike Matt, you can get off of the boat at any time. Why keep subjecting yourself to something you think is dumb when there are tons of other shows you could devote time to instead?
Not sure if you stayed away as you suggested, but based on the first three episodes anyway, it seems like a pretty well done series. The one scene that never happened notwithstanding.
And yet, 3 episodes in those idiots seem to be making some pretty great television. Perhaps they can have a bunch of good ideas and some bad ones too?
And yet here we are three episodes in with all A grades. Could still go off the rails, but maybe people responded to this anecdote about a single scence with too much pessimism about how the season would go?
