I tried "kajigger desu" but it wouldn't let me use spaces, so I switched to my twitter (@ el_foco_y_asi). I was just coming back from my lunch break, it did made me nauseous
It also just keeps logging me out for some reason. But at least it doesn't make me wanna puke
It's too easy to reply now. Where's the challenge?
I felt a little bad about disliking Sanjay's Super Team when at the end they show you a picture of the real Sanjay and his dad, but still World of Tomorrow needs to win.
World of Tomorrow is on Netflix, and if you like that one try It's Such a Beautiful Day also from Don Hertzfeldt (and also available on Netflix)
I hated The Wind Rises. As I mentioned in this site before, I understand why Miyazaki did it, it's obviously a very personal movie for him, but it's not a good movie. I was really surprised when some folks in the theater clapped at the end of it.
And no, there's nothing inherently wrong about a "sweet and visually…
It's incredibly cliché, from the characters to the soap opera story, the only thing it has going for it's the time period. Compared to every other Ghibli movie it just falls short. I just expect better from Ghibli, they have done better. And i don't mean that every Ghibli movie needs to be a fantastical adventure,…
Seems like everyone is talking about acting and cinematography noms so I'm just gonna talk a little on the animation front. On the main category, I have no idea why the Ghibli movie,When Marnie Was There, was nominated. I'd put it in the From up Poppy Hill camp, maybe even worse. Even the animation is odd, the scene…

Ugh, for fuck's sake
Anyway, let's continue talking about HIMYM craptastic ending
But why did you need to know that? I think this is more on your expectations than what the movie is or tries to be. Do we really need to know why she did what she did? I think it's pretty obvious: she wanted to survive. And we do see her be conflicted about how she accomplished (specially during that interview), she's…
Some of Taeko's expressions are kinda odd, specially when she laughs. But I do give Takahata a lot of credit for always experimenting, just look how different this, Kaguya and My Neighbor the Yamadas are. I love Miyazaki but you can always tell when a movie is a Miyazaki movie, you can't say the same for Takahata
Before Kaguya this was my favorite Takahata film, and yes the pineapple scene is great. Things can be disappointing, even if we force ourselves to think otherwise. Even the incredibly cloying ending (the ending song is The Rose for fuck's sake), won me over.
BTW, this was not released in the US but was released in…
Just look at all those checkmarks!

This is the most disappointing mention of God Hand ever
I've always been partial to Blanka, it's not my main (that would be Cammy), but he hits hard and you can slide under Hadoukens. Remember to always charge, while jumping, in the middle of combos, when it clicks it clicks
Ok, this is a great ode to what makes Street Fighter interesting, but it doesn't tell me anything that this game does that other SF haven't done (except for the things that is lacking). So, does it have parries? Counters? Focus Attacks? What's the V-Skill? Anything useful?
Also: The lack of those modes is not…
