A lot of that art reminds me of Stan Sakai.

I found a record called Psyche Folk 101 out on Stone's Throw that's incredible. A bunch of '70s funk bands from places like Greece and Kenya. Pretty much my favorite album of 2010, comprised of totally obscure music.

I've always wanted/not wanted to know what guy lying on the ground in Radiohead's "Just" video says at the end.

The Chris Gaines album is really good, too.

Hey Will Harris, that scene completely horrified me;same for the tequila worm scene in Poltregeist II and the part in Willow where Bavmorda turns all the good guys into pigs.

I saw them on the same tour as PaNoire. Children of Bodom  and Mastodon were awesome, but I fell asleep in my seat during LOG's set. Then again, I also drank most of a twelve-pack in the parking lot. I needed a nap before Slayer anyway.

Burzum clears frat kids out of a bar pretty quick.

That's my least favorite one of the 33 1/3s. I would've rather read that kind of narrative voice to explain Ride the Lightning or Number of the Beast.

Agreed on The Heavy.

Regarding Jerry Jeff: See also, "Me and Paul" by Willie Nelson, though I like the Waylon Jennings version better.

"Steeeeeve Perry."

I'd rather see a different Mary Doria Russell book adapted. The one about a priest in space.
