Yeah. Good call.

In about 6 months I'll be cranking this record during a party, and 1 of those people currently bitching about this album being on their phone will come up to me and say, "Hey, this is pretty cool. What is this?"

"Pride."

The bridge is fantastic.

The first 1/2 anthems are growing on me. They're going to sound great live, "The Miracle" in particular.

Well, I mean, The Clash were in a Jaguar ad. Nothing says "London Calling" like a V12 with Corinthian leather, traction control, and 8 mpg.

Really?

“And then I went to a friend’s house and I had to keep my heart going
there, it’s so beautiful. I loved it. It’s Bono’s interpretation and his
spirit, but it also captures Joey’s spirit. He described my brother’s
spirit well. I think he got just what Joey would have wanted out of it.”
-Mickey Leigh, Joey’s Brother

The singer is awful at singing.

Guy who says he's "pure" in his love of music admits that music is a secondary concern in his appreciation of music.

You get to know musical artists by reading interviews?

Ha!

I love reactions like this. "I'm all about the music, man. But I hate this artist, and here's why…" then proceeds to list non-musical reasons for disliking the music.

Translation: Rich, white man's pain more "real" than rich, white woman's pain.

Fucking awful.

I'm not sure "loving" a song means I automatically have to "hate" other songs.

Vee was doing snark WAY before the interweb.

Breathing is fucking awesome. Try and go 5 minutes w/o it. I dare you. You can't.

It has nothing to do with love of music. It has everything to do with love of snark.

He hates it cause it's popular.
