They play a TV friendly style of basketball (fast paced, lots of 3s, not too much defense), and it's a matchup of two relatively young teams that should be a good game.  They are on a disproportionate amount (relative to their record and national interest) because there are many fewer teams to televise for the late

For some reason, Hanks's delivery of Justin Hoffman killed me.

Line of the episode:

There was a time where the concept of the trifecta tickled my fancy, but I was just a kid and didn't understand how little sense it made in reality.

I very much enjoyed the Matt Graham WTF, but probably because I saw a lot of my own traits in him (using the guise of honesty as an excuse for a complete lack of tact, for example).

Look at this screenshot, then check out the one on the Race to Witch Mountain review…awesome.

"tying into the vasectomies"

Yeah I was thinking that too, there was a little pause between "accused of" and "something or other" because asking for a favor for someone accused of a rape and murder is not such an enticing request.

I preferred the Chris Hardwick WTF, for the part of the podcast where he starts interviewing Maron and gets to the bottom of Maron's comic beliefs and why he is defensive against other styles.

How reasonable is it to expect campaigning to have any impact on the Nielsen's numbers?  I'm sure networks look at other stuff metrics like Hulu views (I assume someone has access to them), but I'd be curious to other ways advertisers assess viewership.  Also, I'll make this compromise: if the Nielsen's choose me as a

I audibly laughed at what was supposed to be a serious moment, when the coffee girl rejected Julia's offer, and I think it was a preemptive laugh to how Todd would react.  Also, completely agree with how Adam and Christina are annoying like real (my) parents.

My DVR cut off as I think Adam and Christina were ending their closing conversation, but then it missed the entire last scene where Amber's teacher comes back to Sarah sitting glumly on a stoop in the Braverman house and gives her Amber's diploma, which was sappy but still pretty awesome.

The latte girl…at work…is pregnant, and I really want to ask her if I can buy her baby.

I think the zany dog humor can be interesting, like when in the dream sequence, one of the charges is "panties on the face" was the best thing he could come up with to cheer up Jenna, but Wilfred was the one who did it.  When the line is blurred between Wilfred the dog and Wilfred the character in Ryan's imagination,

Where is Hang Up and Listen?
Such a consistently more interesting sports podcast than the BS Report, was it dropped from coverage? Also, on a completely different note, Superego is the shit.

Thanks for clarifying, sort of a misleading newswire headline. But I'm still excited at the possibility that Sean P could get more mainstream notice (not much, but getting further away from being "the brokest rapper you know").

Since when…
Was Sean P in Wu-Tang? Awesome.

The only positive thing that came out of that moviegoing experience was getting a pass to see a prescreening of 30 Minutes or Less the next day, which was 10x funnier and better.

Disappointment of the week
I saw this movie at the premier on Monday, and from the last half hour on, the only thing I could think of that would salvage the time I wasted watching it was a scathing review from the A.V. Club. This movie was nowhere near funny enough to justify its complete lack of a moral compass.
