Speaking as a gay man, Seven's costume held no power over me, but I loved 7 of 9 regardless, because Ryan was more than up to the task acting-wise, and I loved that the character had such ambivalence about being "freed" from the collective. Her bouts of conflict with Janeway were great fun to watch.

I'm with you, Ghoulstock. I'm seeing TV spots everywhere for this show I've never heard of, and I'm like "Katee Sackhoff is back on TV?? Awesome!"

+1 for Kaufman's "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". It's my favorite version. And the soundtrack is amazing.
