A season with a main storyline involving a previously white club like SoA patching over the Grim Bastards. One imagines a non-hack writer being able to make an interesting show about largely just this.

Yeah and you could have camera crews from VICE bumping around. Some hipster in a kevlar vest solemnly intoning about the "killing fields" and whatnot.

For me, D episode (in general) but bump one letter grade for the following Chibs line:

Great episode! To be honest, I usually like to see zombies gnawing on bad guys. But to see them go a la carte on the crew at "Tech startup meets Auschwitz-Birkenau" was even more satisfying.

I realise that if this had been the first 2 episodes of Homeland the series (as opposed to season 4 of same) I would have thought it interesting and worth watching the next ep.

Maybe bad editing - necessary scene cut out or something. I agree they have a chemistry but I half caught a vibe at their introduction as if they somehow knew each other from the past maybe?

Okay, so the Annabeth Gish character. Gravelly-voiced "I've been at this for a long time. I've dealt with outlaws worse than you the length and breadth of the Western Hemisphere."

Thanks for pipping the "worst massacre in my QUADRANT joke I was coming here to make.

"If he's so incompetent then what makes you think they'll promote him?"

Sigrid can invite me over for some kitchen work any time she wants. Quite hot I think in her evil don't-give-a-shit-edness.

Yes. Felt like the ending was just rushed and thrown together.

I believe Beema suggested the National Guard be sent to Charming below. Uh, no, disagree. We're at the point where the full-on United Nations need to get involved. A multinational peacekeeping force or some shit. I mean the full fucking Kosovo circa late 1990s treatment.

Fully endorse the reviewer's opinion re: the flashbacks. They add a little but seem a bad use of resources with so few episodes left.

What were the odds that the more sensitive than thou crowd would get its collective panties in a twist over the Chalky scene? Like 100%. Thank the fuck christ Todd Vander Werff is not writing on this. The mind boggles as to what sort of transgressions the BWE writers would have committed against his Leninistic PC

I will take up the call someone made last week: please do not hurt Cerisola's hot junkie daughter.

I am not even into blokes but even I thought he was pretty well hot after shaving that off.

Yeah I hear her accent. I have some business in Germany and hear Germans speak English all the time. Sounds clear as day to me. Doesn't bother me - TV show FFS - but it is noticeable.

I think this was a riff on how Pablo Escobar would go out and play football in the streets amongst the young people whereverabouts he was hiding or "imprisoned" at the time.

Holy fuck! I'm glad I'm not the only one who wanted to chuck my drinking glass straight into the TV screen on watching that.

Spot on review, I think. Hit a lot of points that crossed my mind while I watched. And was more interested in the goings-on than in a good while.
