I'm not them, but: Oldies tend to compress VERY well, being that they were attenuated for vinyl and radio, and some of them were even mono. I've used the highest-quality Apple AAC VBR setting, which sometimes spits out crazy 350+ kbps on modern stuff, on certain oldies and found they barely needed ~170 kbps.
