Shit I remember that haha…

Am I the only one who feels a bit for Hamlin? I've really come to respect the character. He's fair, decisive, yet tenacious…a true professional business leader. In a way he feels like the fulcrum on the scales of MORAL justice, with Jimmy and Chuck stacking more and more weights on each of their respective sides.

I never much liked country music growing up…in fact I actively hated it for a while. But, damn, after dealing with 10 years of 'bro-country' I'm starting to realize I should have appreciated true song-writing grinders like Alabama a bit more.

I didn't know when this was filmed…and when he started doing the 'pat the vagina' part of 'Rapes/saves' bit I thought for sure that he was referring to how people continue to twist themselves in knots to justify Trump.

Hahahaha.

I think what makes Dave great is that he allows everyone to laugh a LITTLE bit at even the most touchy stuff. I'm the whitest male-est blissfully-ignorant-to-privilidge dude you're gonna find…yet it's possible Chappelle has helped me be more understanding of others than most other celebrities…if for nothing more than

Chappelle's Show was a welcome molotov lobbed into my college experience. One day everyone is following the PC-police rules, the next day every race/color/creed was breaking down the 'Racial Draft' with honest and FUN candor.

God I forgot about True Lies. It really is hilarious as hell.

The Fugitive came out two years later and still feels older than 'Lambs'

Say what you will about the total of Sandler's films…

Matrix was 1999. Honestly most us felt like 'hey, this is '90s is over'' movie.

It was also a big deal because it was the first time Disney went for the Summer box office season with its feature.

Obviously ID4 is in no way high art…but damn are we at the point where were have to auto-razz it? That movie is still fun as hell…

Eh, that was 1999 and def felt more like a glimpse of things to come in the new century [same with the Matrix].

As someone who was raised Republican, I can tell you it goes something like this: New Deal & Great Society programs are genies that have been out of the bottle for several generations, so we can't go back…but they need to be viewed as a necessary evil [like taxes] and not as a means of adjudicating 'social

I'm trying to understand how the Electoral College and 'pandering to ex-slave states' have anything to do with each other. It is possible to have a discussion about 'states' autonomy' without delving into the dog whistle 'states' rights'. At the Federal level the US is a representative Republic so it makes perfect

Right there with you… I could listen to Disco Powerpack, Long Burn the Fire & Tadlock's Glasses on repeat all day.

Do yourself a favor and watch this with a proper sound system…and some sticky ick if you fancy such things.

Wow. I can still see LaVarr breaking down Pāhoehoe while standing on that cooled flat.

I've gotten the chance to interact twice with JD over the years. Once as a golf fan, and once professionally…
