I was thinking about this recently as well as I was listening to Amnesiac. Kid A is my unimpeachable number 1 RH album, but as time goes on I find myself Amnesiac on more often. Glass House is so so good and such a perfect capper on that era of their music. I do disagree a bit on the later work. I love In Rainbows…
I don't know which came first: Radiohead conspiracies or Radiohead conspiracy theorists…but I love that Radiohead has happily continued to increase the amount they intentionally mindf*** their fans.
Most successful bands are measured simply by ephemeral hits and record sales, The White Stripes contributed to The American Songbook.
He took a white orchid, turned it blue.
Robot Barry was simultaneously one of the most terrifying and hilarious things I've seen on screen in a long time.
Thanks!
She's clearly trapped in it. Whether or not she had anything to do with the scam has no bearing on the fact that her name will be attached to it if it's ever discovered. Jimmy forced her into that corner.
Ok, a couple observations:
1) The hospital admittance scene was one of the most terrifying things I've seen in entertainment. It was one of those scenes that perfectly illustrated the panic of being half-conscious on a gurney and having no clue what's going on. Was watching with the home theater and the muted chorus of…
I think if Fring shows up, that will be the key.
Welp. As someone who just started watching The Americans….thanks.
Maladriot is easily my most-oft played non Blue/Pinkerton album.
Poor jimmy. No one will ever like him for who he naturally is. Mike doesn't care about his war stories, solid law firms will never accept his flamboyance, and the one person he truly cares about cannot bear to be a partner with him in the field they both work. If only Kim realized that her version of that offer hurts…
I have a weird relationship with DMB…in that I cannot listen to a studio record for more than a few minutes, but will certainly enjoy their live recordings on occasion. Finally saw them live a few years ago, and, damn, a pretty solid collection of musicians. Carter Beauford is a beast.
Yeah I agree. From Kim and jimmy's standpoint they are both jerks. But in stand by my assertion last week that any of us in cliff or Hamlin shoes would be equally incredulous over the circus Jimmy has brought upon them.
I honestly don't have that much a problem with Hamlin. He's trying to preside over one of the South west's most prestigious law firms and day in and day out he has to deal with the petty bullshit that Chuck and Jimmy are causing. He probably walks in every morning wondering WTF did I do to deserve this circus. Kim, he…
I hate to be 'that guy' but I'm pretty sure it was a PBR. That said I totally thought back to that scene myself.
I find myself being as critical and put-off by ancient, lazy tropes as many of the commenters here on this site. However, given the strongest foundation of comedy is timing, the Doritos ad had the best delivery.
…and Toy Story 3 isn't?The toys narrowly escape incineration [AFTER they've accepted their fate] only to be given away by the only owner they've ever known…but haha yes I could go either way on which of the films is the best, all excellent.
Wasn't sure if I wanted to watch this. Looked like it might be bad History Channel Dramatic Reenactment.
