ELR always had strong xmas eps. Maybe not a singular one as memorable as these, but 'The Toaster' is always on my list of holiday must-watch.

Yeah, and to my point above about 're-watching'…last night I stumbled on 'Flight 1'…totally forgot there were a bunch of scenes where Duck was working with Pete trying to get him to use his loss to guilt-pitch AA to signing with SC. Fast forward 4 seasons, and there's Pete and Duck again dealing with Bob Benson…whom,

Season 5, due to all its surrealism, is crazy to watch stoned.

"To me, one of its appeals is it's lack of a central driven plot"

It can take a while to really get into it. Took my friend 2 whole seasons to become as fanatical as I am.

Green Day and Weezer. I was 13 and they ruled my Summer.

I agree that the first few eps we a tad messy, yet interesting. I don't know if the reviewer and I are watching the same show anymore. This ep was excellent on all fronts from design to writing to performance. Everyone seems to want to compare this as a 'prestige-lite' drama in same vein as Mad Men. It's apparent this

Of all the films you could choose from for the cover photo, you choose one from the only actual awesome MB film out there?

Binghamton, NY resident here: For decades it's always been Rod Serling as number 1. Everything form studen film festivals to live teleplays of TS episodes on local PBS. Though right now the hottest thing here are the Jones Brothers [from Endicott, part of the 'Triple Cities]: Obviously Jon 'Bones' as the UFC LH Champ,

Not to be 'that guy' but the project was called 'Lifehouse' :-)

Of course Blue and Pinkerton are amazing, timeless records…but Maladroit is the one where I don't skip any tracks. Loved it the first time I heard it, and still love it now. Vis a vis the age convo: I'm 31 [1981].

At least Paul Haggis brought us "Due South."

Correct.

I'm liking the acting and production quality enough to stick with it. I actually really enjoyed this ep. Of course some of the sybolism was heavy handed, and the gay gambit was a little hard to take…but McNairy is great and now that Toby Huss' character has been given space to expand beyond cliche templates I'm really

I'll offer 3 from ELR: 1)Ray's off-the-cuff pet names for Deb. 2) Robert's 'crazy chin'. 3) Ray epic-failing any gift for his parents. Come to think of it, almost every 'bad gift' ep was probably a top-20.

You mean like "The Music Man" for computers?

How do you do this and not include 'Dumb and Dumber.' It was the first one that came to mind along with 'Pulp Fiction'

Also, I see people mentioning Don's throwaway line about Bert's sister and if that will play into anything. Just a reminder that she absolved her stake in the company when they sold to the Brits. There was a lunch scene in Bert's office where they discussed it. That said, I wonder if she still is kicking somewhere in

The song and dance was fine by me, and I think it even makes sense. Don was probably pondering what Bert might be thinking about this sale so quickly..and his mind for some reason finally had a revelation about what is truely real and tangible in the world [love, the moon, the best things in life being free] and just
