Seriously. I view House of Cards as the most well-produced, farfetched, guilty pleasure show ever. Some things can be enjoyed for their merits. When a show is as well written, acted, and directed as HoC is, then analyze it from that standpoint. Sure, interject here and there about why something would be unlikely to

The first Batman v Superman trailer featured a Batcave memorial Robin costume with "HA HA HA" spray painted on it — heavily implying Robin was killed by The Joker. (I think there was also something Batman says in the trailer that alludes to him "losing" someone.) I think the assumption is that it's Jason Todd because

Well clearly neither Gotham nor Metropolis are very safe these days. Gotham's crime rate has been ridiculous for a over a decade now, and Metropolis suffered billions in property damage. Frankly, I think moving to a nice, quiet midwestern state or the west coast would be the most practical thing to do.

Like your mother did last night!

He's even playing non-Oscar-winning roles, too. Risqué.

Yep. I think it makes most sense to watch them in the order in which they were released (excluding Origins: Wolverine or The Wolverine — as you say watch The Wolverine after Last Stand and before DoFP, and skip Origins altogether as it's not really consequential and barely canonical).

Apologies to Mister Braddock. That was a lazy, drunk drive-by comment last night. I did not mean to denigrate Ex Machina nor imply that there haven't been good sci-fi movies since Looper. I quite liked both, and agree Ex Machina is a better movie. But I also like Looper a lot, even if it is admittedly flawed. (Ex

FOUR years ago?! Did they even make movies in color back then?

… or Looper?
