Not all the way, but I'll go so far as to say that I liked them better when they just observed. There was something mysterious and even charming about them back them. I kind of feel like this villain turn takes away from that.

It's the same with me. I recognize that it's not The Wire, that certain things don't work, that there are inconsistencies; there have been a number of plot developments I found tossed-off or irritating; but these reservations just fade to dust when I watch this show.
