what's up matador is damn good.

red hot and bothered was a good one.

was that on the Saturday Morning one? Violent Femmes doing it.

The first one was so good! It even had good Offspring songs on it.

there were a lot of good ones in the 90's. No Alternative, Born to Choose, If I Were a  Carpenter, DGC Rarities, even that ridiculous Schoolhouse Rock comp had some good stuff on it.

we get it. we really do. for someone who didn't like Brit pop you talk about it A LOT.

are you being a smart ass? That was Republica.

@avclub-152cc7bd380aa7ddee2fb624d87228b1:disqus that's Liam.

she's a yoga instructor now. i think.

@avclub-230e46d19fe78a6c8dc715659a7188d7:disqus I always want to hate that lyric, but then I realize it's pretty fucking brilliant. I want to hate it because it's so on the nose and you know Bono is so proud of it. But damn if it doesn't work.

i felt the same way. it can be found on YouTube.

that is a wicked toenail!

I love how he has to keep it to himself that he won money in the Lotto because he thinks Mark will ask him for money.

This has been a very brit pop heavy day for me. I watched a documentary on the writing of the song Common People. Then I watched No Distance Left to Run and now this.

that's why I go with Creed too, they have something to say or think they do. also the Christian rock angle doesn't help even with the evidence of the Kid Rock/Scott Stapp sex tape.

you win.

if you read the book Cool Britannia, which I would recommend, you get the impression that most BritPop feuds were in some way about Justine Frischmann.

which band is worse…Limp Bizkit or Creed?

It was Noel that said it.

they should get John Goodman as Walter Sobchek to read as Milius.
