And yet, still no obit for my guy Banks. What the hell, AV Club?

Count me as another person completely outraged by the lack of a Banks obit. I sent them a [mostly] polite note asking why, never got a reponse.

Really? I saw the old film version first, then read all 6 of the "real" Dune books, and thought they were both better for it. Both are still in my favorites lists for the genre.

Read the book a few weeks ago. To me, pacing, plot, characters, all were written movie style….
