It's definitely worth it. Grant's style is so clear and direct that it's like he's a proto-Hemingway, and the book is blessedly free of Victorianisms. Plus it's a great (albeit incomplete) story.

I agree, and yet there's no incentive to pay if you've got people who want to do it for free. Hell, even this person said it was an experience to be repeated.
Same thing with journalism: So many people want to break into it that management can treat employees like crap. Heard many stories of bright-eyed men and women walking into ESPN in Bristol and realizing they're going to leave their youth on an editing room floor.
